Abstract:
     A dissolving process for preparing modified refractory asphalt includes such technological stps as proportionally adding dewatered residual oil containing wax (50-80 wt.%), high-molecular resin (15 wt.%) and regenerated 20-mesh rubber powder (5-35 wt.%) into esterifying pot, heating to 180-260 deg.C, adding polyethylene or styrene promotor and petroleum resin disperser, keep the temp constant for 25 min, introducing compressed air for blending and esterifying, heating to 280 deg.C, addition of high-temp antiageing agent, high-temp polymerization and keeping the temp constant for 10 min. Its advantages are simple process, low production cost, high high-temp and low-temp properties, and not ageing, cracking and loosening.
