Abstract:
     A method for producing stuffing meterial that can be used on various industrial pumps, pipings and valves is disclosed. The stuffing material consists of 35-65 parts by wt. of carbon containing fibre of polyacrylonitrile, viscose or phend formaldehyde fibres, 65-35 parts by wt. of PTFE emulsion or dispersion, and a trace amount of graphite, grease containing or not containing F, and abrasion-resistant metals Cu, Sn, Sb. The stuffing of this inveution possesses good abrasion-resistant, thermoconductive and chemical resistant properties. The process of production adopts a specific technology of weaving first and carbonizing afterwards, besides, a special carbonizing equipment capable of fast heating and cooling is used, thus energy consumption and production cost may be reduced.
