Abstract:
To the concentrated black liquor from alkali process of pulpmaking, sulfurous acid is added under heating and stirring to adjust PH and to increase its activity. Sodium dichromate and iron salt are added to form Fe-Cr chelates of lignin. After spray drying, the diluent for oil well drilling slurry is thus obtd. This invention not only provides an excellent diluent for oil well drilling slurry, but also gives a perfect utilization of the black liquor, thus avoiding environmental pollution.
