Abstract:
     Alpha-AL203 abrasive (the grain size for fine grinding is 5 less than d less than 25 micron meter, and that for polishing is 1 less than d less than 5 micron meter is used as polishing compound, 0.5-20% (volume) of glycerine is used as lubricant, synthetic resin cloth is used as polishing membrane, and water is used as carrier. The polishing fluid is prepared by adding 1-30 1 water to 0.5-2 kg abrasive (pretreated), and used to polish large BGO monocrystal, resulting in product of high quality (degree of roughness reaches Ra is less than or equal to 0.45, Ra is less than or equal to 0.03 micron meter resp.) with high efficiency and no poisonous effect.
