Abstract:
     It is found applications for the vacuum welding of high intensity discharge tube. This kind of glass solder can be used stably for a long time in spite of sealing transparent or translucent Al2O3 ceramic itself or sealing with metals such as Nb, W and Mo. The toxic BaCO3 materials are not applied in the mfr. of this solder so as to protect human bodies and environment from being harmed. It is ensured that the solder mfd. by the method possesses of homogeneous mass and good sealing quality because of appling lower melting temp. and rapid cooling in the mfg.
