Abstract:
     The present invention provides a kind of binder for powder press-formed inoculation block. The inoculation block which is press-formed by use of the said binder is not only pleasing to the eye, but aslo firm and easy to use. It can remove the phenomenon of inoculation fade. The present binder is made of styrene-butadiene rubber, industrial paraffin wax and solvent gasoline, in which the styrene-butadiene rubber and paraffin wax are used as binders, and the latter may also act as a lubricating agent, therefore the appearance and quality of the press-formed inoculation block are good, its strength is high and it is applicable to medium-sized and small-sized casting of gray cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron.
