Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a kind of long life high temperature binder in the field of refractory material and especially of the refractories which are not preformed and used for power saving. The said binder is composed of aqueous solution of sodium phosphate, sodium metasilicate in water, with calcium fluoride or carbonate added afterward as strengthening agent. The percentages by weight of components are: sodium phosphate 7-25%, sodium metasilicate solution 10-42%, the balance being water, into the above aqueous solution 1-10% of calcium fluoride or carbonate is added additionally. If a certain quantity of chromite powder is added in the said high temperature bonder, a high temperature power saving coating material of excellent quality can be obtained.
