Abstract:
     The principal point of this method is that, at first, the hydroquinone structure of laccol in chinese lacquer is broken by epoxidation or attaching an active group to it, then the epoxy prepolymer of laccol is treated with peracid to enable epoxidation of the unsaturated alkene chain or attaching an active group to it. The prepolymer of laccol upgraded by this method contains various active groups. The light colored upgraded lacquer maintains or improves all good properties of the original lacquer. The upgraded product may be divided in baking, room-temp, drying and blending (with vegetable oil) types, the product has no skin-sensitive toxicity, can be used in spraying coating, it can be used directly or blended to various coloured varnishes.
