Abstract:
     A temp phase-transfer process for preparing full-free dispersed rosin size includes adding the aqueous solution of emulsifier to molten mixed rosin while stirring, adding water until oil-water ratio is 1 : (0.8-1.2), stirring uniformly to obtain W/O type emulsion, and cooling to obtain O/W-type full-free dispersed rosin size. Its advantages are simple operation, smooth reaction, easy control, high producibility and stable quality. Obtained rosin size has solid content greater than 50%, rosin content up to 40% or more, pH value of 5-6, viscosity less than 25 CP and long quality guarantee period of 30 days at 54 deg.C.
