Abstract:
     This invention relates to a continuous process of transferring artificially calcium based bentonite into sodium based bentonite in which ratios of solid materials to liq. flow can be remotely transferred and controlled automatically by means of an electronic system, and the chemical reaction of conversion takes places in a screw extruder attached with those instrumentation. The temp. of material inlet and outlet of the rotary drum dryer and time for drying can be adjusted and controlled during quick drying. The prod. is then subjected to wind sieving system for crashing, grading and packing. The merits of this process are high effeciency, continuous operation, high quality of prod., wide availability and less consumption of raw materials.
