Abstract:
     This invention refers to a process for producing soft carbon black. by which not only the gaseous fuel but also the liquid fuel, mainly the heavy oil, can be used as fuel, and the heavy oil used as raw material as well. The fuel oil is firstly fogged through a fog nozzle and passed into the burning furnace in axial flow along with spinning air, while the raw material oil is sprayed in with a feeding angle of 45-90 deg. to the throat axis. The supplementary air and fuel gas can be introduced in tangential or radial direction to the burning furnace. The smoke black of carbon is fastly cooled to below 980 deg.C by fogged water flow. This process and equipment concerned is applicable to produce various soft carbon black for special or common purpose with 10-30% energy consumption saved.
