Abstract:
     The invented iron-oxide pigment including various iron-oxide pigments, such as iron-oxide yellow, iron-oxide red-yellow, iron-oxide red, iron-oxide violet, iron-oxide blue, iron-oxide black, etc., is made from the underground water drained from coal mine and by air oxidation, chemical extraction, resting for sedimentation, natural drying and oxide calcination at 400-930 deg.C. The preparation method of the invention is simple, of low cost and serves the function of purifying water source. The iron-oxide pigment prepared is of high Fe2O3 content, low water-soluble salt, well fineness and strong hiding power.
