Abstract:
     The present invention is related to a production method of the pigment containing silicon and cadmium which is used to colour enamel, glass, plastics, paint, printing ink, etc.. The method is described that silicon colloidal sols is used as raw material to coat the grains of cadmium sulphide or selenium sulphide. So that a pigment containing silicon and cadmium having the gloss of pure cadmium-system pigment and large surface area, strong colourable capacity, light-resisting, and acid-resisting is obtained. The content of SiO2 in the obtained pigment is the amount of 2-60% of the final product.
