Abstract:
     This colored quartz sand has been prepared from beach sand and yellow sand which contains over 50 percent silicon dioxide as base material, phosphate as reactive agent, and oxides of transition-metals as pigments. Colored quartz sand is obtained by reaction at 200-350 deg.C for 5-30 minutes.
