Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a new catalytic acidation technology of sepiolite, bentonite, and other similar silicate minerals in producing reinforcing stuffing for rubber and other polymers. The present invention uses catralyst to speed up acidatio of the above-said silicate mainerals so that the product has not only the same structure as the original mineral, but also active groups in its surface. The cost of the product is much lower than that of sedimentary silica white, which is now used in rubber and plastics industry.
