Abstract:
     This invention provides a process for preparing Ba-11-05 lithopone by surface treatment of semi-finished products of B-301 or B-311 lithopone with sodium silicate, aluminium sulfate and surface active agent. Thus produced lithopone possesses compared with B-301 or B-311 lithopone, better ultraviolet resistance and thermal stability; higher brightness and covering power. Said product is applicable for internal and external aquo-paintings. The property of paint film still meets the technical specifications when 20-50% of rutile titanium oxide in paint is substituted.
