| This invention provides a simple processes by which an activated adobe earth with excellent decolouring and absorption properties is produced. Adobe clay with adobe stone content not less than 50% is used as raw material which is impregnated in water, drained by extrusion, dried, ground into grains, blended fiercely with small amount of inorganic acid ( Hcl, H2so4, etc.) and water. The flowable grain with a certain amount of moisture, thus obtained is fransferred into the final product by indirect heating at 120-600 deg. C for a given period. It can be used to replace activated carbon for decolouring, deodorization and detoxication in such areas as petrolium, chemical engineering, grains and oil, and environmental protection. | |||
