Abstract:
     This invention relates to a process for modifying a nonmetal ore, wollastonite, including such steps as proportioning raw materials, immersion in water, heating while mixing, filtering and washing with water drying by baking, and breaking. The obtained modified wollastonite powder can be used in white alkyd enamel and other light-coloured paints to replace 10-30% of titanium white.
