Abstract:
     This coating glue is the product of the reaction of diphenylsilandiol and octamethyl cyclotetrasiloxane under the condition of the presence of sulfuric acid. It is characterized by gaining the transparent poly-methyl-phenylsiloxane, and it is transparent fluid consisting of linear poly-methyl-phenylsiloxane, poly-methyl (hydrogen phenyl siloxane and poly-methyl-phenylsiloxane-with-acetylenoxy and platinum catalyst used for optical fiber. These three compounds all have vinyl sealing edge and n to the power 25 n sub D limited to 1.43-1.54. This fluid is suitable for long term use at room temp., and it will soon solidify into transparent elastic coating with smooth surface at temp. above 400 deg.C, it can also be used for elastic buffur layer of airplane's windshield and optical glass bonding agent.
