Abstract:
     The damping materials synthesized by this method can be directly coated on the surface of vibrational parts to reduce the action of vibration and muffle noises. The main constituent of the first network is polystyrene prepared by emulsion polymerization. The second network is principally constituted of polyacrylic butyl ester. The third network may also be present if desirable. Damping materials abtd. by the method possess damping effect in a wide range of temp. and intensive damping properties.
