Abstract:
     A thermoplantic composition of matter is provided, subatantially consisting of leather (as herein defined) and optionally including additives and/or fillers, and obtained by objecting the leather in a closed die to a pressure of about 200 to about 900 bar at a temperature of about 50 deg. to about 250 deg.C. The invention also relates to the process for producing this thermoplastic material.
