Abstract: |
|||
| This is a succeeding innovation of the patented "one-step polycarbonate synthesis method" (registration number CN85 103769). So the previous formulation and principal technology are retained. The organic solution which contains phosgen and the alkaline aqueous solution of bisphenol which contains catalysts and the molecular-weight adjuster, are sent continuously into the mixer in a definite proporation/and then into the cascade of reaction kettles, where the reactants remains Ca 4-6 min. to react. The Mw/Mn value is approximately 1.24 when the average molecular weight is near 30,000. The shaft power consumption per unit volume of the worm wheel stirrer in each kettle is greater than or equal to 6 Kilowatt per eubic meter-hour(Kw/M3.h). While retaining every merit of the previous invention the reproducibility of the results of this innovation is much better, and thus the quality of products is more uniform. | |||
