Abstract:
     Block hexandiol ethyl silicate is used as a novel nodal tear resistant cross-linking agent for treating silicon diotide to solve the contradiction between fluidity of rubber and high strength of rubber sheets. Tearing strength of resulting room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is 25 kg/cm. This kind of rubber can be obtained in two types: the easily knock-out type and the adhering type. The former can be used for leather making and copying moulding of machine parts and antiquities, while the latter can be used for adhering glass, metal, etc, and for coating on silicone gas window of packagings for keeping fruit and vegetable fresh.
