Abstract:
     New series of complex catalysts (Ziegler-type catetysts) prepared from rare earth compounds (naphthenates, acetyl-propanonates and phosphonates of 16 rare earth elements), alkylaluminum and water. And a technology process to manufacture high molecular weight epoxy polymers from epoxy ethane, epoxy propane, epoxy chloropropan and other epoxy monomes by ring-breaking polymerization with above-mentioned catalysts. This invention includes tens of catalyst series. Operating conditions of polymerization range rather wide. one can choose appropriate conditions and catalyst for specified reaction accordingly.
