Abstract:
     This invention involves a method of synthesis of an aromatic polyetherether ketone (PEEK) resin which is a ternary polymer by using 4,4'-dichloro-diphenylketone which partly substitutes 4,4'-difluoro-diphenyl-ketone. When the amount of 4,4'-dichlor-diphenyl ketone mixed is between 1 and 30% (wt.or mol%), the PEEK resin of relative viscosity of about 1.0 can be produced, hence the cost of PEEK resin will be greatly reduced.
