Abstract:
     The mixed dicarboxylic acid recovered from the waste liquor discharged from the procedure in production of adipic acid, the dross (G ester) or para-methyl benzoic acid discharged from the procedure in production of polyester of P-phthalic acid and glycol, the dross (C ester), dihydric alcohol and trihydric alcohol discharged from the procedure in production of dimethyl P-phthate are compounded in a certain proportion and processed through the reaction of esterification and transesterification, as a result the polyester of polyhydric alcohol may be produced. The materials used have no need for separation and refinement, so the cost of the production may be less 54% than that of the production in ordinary way, and the produced polyester foam is superior in flame resistance and thermal insulation. The method does not cause secondary environmental pollution.
