Abstract:
     A novel casting adhesive consists of acrylic acid series multicomponent copolymer resin and water. Acrylic acid series multicomponent coplymer resin can be polymerzied by binary, tribasic,tetrabasic,pentabasic,hexabasic,heplabasic with methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate,hydroxy-ethyl acrylate,hydroxy-propyl acrylate,methyl methylacrylate,acrylonitrile,acrylic acid,methylacrylic acid,acrylamide methylacrylamide and other monomers.Usually application of acrylic acid series copolymer resin is in the range of 0.4-1% by sand weight. It is characterized by the following excellent adhesion strength,small amount of application,low amount of gas production,good defeat and dispersion,and the used sand can be recovered.It is advantageous that the quality of casting can be improved and the pollotion of environment can be lessen. It can be used for cast iron and steel.
