Abstract:
A special composition which surface is siliconized can be further carried on fluorination, phosphoration or phosphination. The compositions are esp. used as carrier of chromium catalyst in olefin polymerization, and can be used together with six valence chromium catalyst and a cocatalyst or together with an organic chromium calalyst. If required, it is suggested that the support may also be phosphorated or phosphinated. Another suggestion is kept aluminium phosphate forming in the pores of alumina. The catalyst system of this invention can produce olefin polymers with high yields, and produce novel high density and super high molecular weight polymers.
