Abstract:
     A photo-initiated agent N-bromo-ethanoyl carbazole (NBC) can initiate photo-polymerization of vinyl monomers at room temp.. This can simplify the process and save energy in commercial production. A free radical as reaction chain transfer agent can be added to control mol. wt. of product, or as chain stopper to control polymerization process.
