Abstract:
     This catalyst composes of four components: Fe-containing compound, alkyl aluminum, nitrogen-containing compound and halides. The mole ratios of the four componeuts are 1:50~100:1~5:5~14,a highly active Fe-catalyst series is resulted. These catalysts promote the polymerization of butadiene to a rubber containing about 50% of polym. molecules which have double bonds at position 1.2. Characteristic of these catalysts of this invention is that: because of the addition of the fourth component, halides, the catalytic reactivity is considerablly improved than the conventional three component catalysts.
