Abstract:
     A paste-forming vinyl chloride polymers are manufactured by a interrupted polymerization in the presence of a conventional predisperse liquid. such as emulsifying agent, disperse acid and water, monomer and dissoluble catalyst in the monomer. The predisperse liquid is only prepared by 30-80% by weight of the required emulsifying agent and then added to the polymers. To the polymerization reactive mixture is added the rest of emulsifying agent, or component consisting of emulsifying agent is a aqueous solution in a concentration of 10-60% by weight of it, batchwise or countinuously. The resulting polymer is in a form of low-viscosity paste even under high shearing stress, and as open honey combing cellular plastics with good rebound elasticity.
