Abstract:
     This invention refers to a process for desolventizing a solution which contains at least 8 percent (by wt.) of elastomeric polymer. Firstly, the heated fluid and elastomeric polymer solution are thoroughly mixed in a static mixer and then are heated rapidly, and sprayed into an enlarged spaced vaporizer room, the pressure is reduced suddenly, thus most part of heated fluid and solvent are vaporized, and is drawn by a vacuum system which is connected with closely engaged and sealed double screw feeder located at the exit of vaporizer room. The elastomeric polymer forms into powder and is fed into extruder by virtue of rotation of feeder. The residual solvent is removed by virtue of degasing opening on feeder as well as injection of degasing aid.
