    A half-cutting method for culturing the seedlings of sweet potato includes such steps as longitudinal cutting a sweet potato to obtain two halves, dipping in plant ash, and burying them underground in an inclined mode. Its advantages are high germinating rate and uniformity, and less consumption of seed sweet potato.
