Abstract:
     The object of this invention is to provide a commercially applicable method for producing telechelic liquid rubber with a concise process, simple equipment, low investment, low production cost, and low energy consumption. In the present art isopropyl-xanthic sulfide terminated liquid chlorophenyl rubber is converted to mercapto terminated liquid chlorophenyl rubber by a vacuum hot conversion process in presence of mainchain protective agent. Product can be obtained directly without any aftertreatment.
