Abstract:
     The drying equipment for sticky material includes a drying tower in which embossed plates are fixed, a condenser, and a vacuum pump. It can desiccate the fed emulsion with a moisture content of 63.2% into a sticky product containing no moisture and can eliminate the volatile component in the sticky product down to less than 1%. The said desiccating tower has low frequency of cleaning, simple structure, easy operation, and low cost. It may be used as a drying equipment for producing liquid rubber, one kind of sticky material. It may also be used as one unique equipment for the degassing concentration or drying of emulsion.
