Abstract:
     A process for preparating a water-soluble iron dextran with 27 to 33 percent of iron (wt.) and 2000 to 4000 average gram molecular wt. of dextran component is described, which is characterized that addition a aqueous sucrose solution to a aqueous solution containing more than 200 mM of dextrose (dextro-glucose) at per 1000 units of alpha (1-6) transferase of dextrose group at ratio of the both molecular of sucrose and dextrose to be 2.0 to 5.0 at temperture of 265 to 310 K and at 4.5 to 8 of PH value. After the sucrose has been consumed, the dextrose released fructose and undesired 10W MW dextran will be separated off, thus purified dextran is reacted with the new precipitated ferric hydroxide for transformation and should be further purificated.
