Abstract:
     This invention is a convenient, low-costing, high-efficient commercial method to extract eatable, low-ester-containing fruit gum from stem and pedical of sunflower plant. The production process is divided in steps: decoloration with weak alkaline solution at room temperature, decalcification with concentrated inorganic acid solution at room temperature and alkaline solution extraction. The finished product satisfies international specifications.
