Abstract: |
|||
| The present invention is related to the preparation of a cheap, high efficiency heavy metal gathering agent (called FTG) using waste containing cellulose as raw material. The waste is firstly alkalized, then vulcanized by CS2 and finally added with some magnesium salts and aluminum salts as stabilizer. The said gathering agent may be used for processing industrial waste water containing heavy metal ions, and it may reduce the remaining concentration of heavy metal ions in the waste water to a level lower than the state stipulated drainage criterion. The resulting dregs may either be used to recover heavy metal or be buried so that they won't result in secondary pollution. The said gathering agent may also be used to recover precious metals in an aqueous solution. The said preparation process only requires simple facilities. It is easy to operate and with low cost. Therefore it is especially suitable for medium and small enterprises. | |||
