Abstract:
     This invention is a method for synthesizing polyester polyhydric alcohol. A matter with the structure of glucose ring reacts with diethylene glycol to generate diethylene glycoside, which is then polymerized with epoxide to generate diethylene glycoside polyester polyhydric alcohol under the action of alkali agent. For the process mentioned in the invention, its initial raw materials are starch and diethylene glycol which is a by-product in the industrial production of glycol. They have wide resource and cheap price, so the productive cost of the polyester polyhydric alcohol, produced by the process in this invention, is lower by about 35% as compared with that produced by the existing techniques.
