| This invention belongs to a synthesizing field of water-soluble high molecular cellulose ether and discloses a synthesizing technology for completing etherification, cross-linking and purification of cellulose complex ether in one step. Cellulose reacts with etherifying agent and cross-linking agent in an alkaline medium whose diluent is hydrophilic organic solvent. The consumptions of the reactants are as follows: cellulose (100%), cross-linking agent (0.1-3.5), hydroxypropyl etherifying agent (30-250%), and carboxymethyl etherifying agent (10-94%). The technology features uniform reaction, easily recovered organic diluent, less consumption of cross-linking agent, and product having such performances as high viscosity, and good thermal stability and salt and acid resistances. The products with different DS and MS can be produced. | |||
