Abstract:
     A preparation process for production of canboxyl methyl-monosaccharide sodium with starch which adopts general starch as raw material, through six simple process such as alkalization, carboxylation, separation, drying, powdering and screening, the carboxyl methyl-monosaccharite sodium is made. The said product has the same property and usage as carboxyl methyl cellulose sodium, but saves cotton which is in short supply, so at the same time, its production technology is simplified and production cost is reduced. As appraised price with present production raw material, the production cost of this invention is only half of the production cost with use of cotton.
