     The present process comprises boiling polystictus versicolor seed with water; adding calcium hydroxide into the resulting extract to separate out polystictus versicolor polysaccharose in complex form; adding acid to dissolve the said complex; adding ethanol to separate out polystictus versicolor polysaccharose as ppte..A powdered polystictus versicolor polysaccharose is obtd. by filtering, washing with ethanol, and drying. The advantages of the present invention are: no energy consumption is required for concentrating the extract, and stable polystictus versicolor polysaccharose complex obtd. as intermediate is convenient for storage.
