Abstract:
     The present invention of production technology for beta-CD from prior to the first liquefaction to before the second liquefaction, it has no need of pH regulation by acid or alkali. For the first liquefaction, the temp. is about 70-80 deg. C, liquefaction time is 5-15 min and the stirring reaction is replaced by stationary reaction. Thus the acid, alkali, electricity, water, steam and labour are greatly saved. These above factors make production cost lowered, production process simplified, labour intensity lowered and production period from original 17-20 hr from original to 10-13 hr.
