Abstract:
     This invention relates to a process for synthesizing water-soluble macromolecular cellulose ether. Based on the processes used before, it integrates carboxy alkylation, hydroxy alkylation and molecular crosslinking modification into one step to complete the synthesis of carboxyalkyl hydroxylalkyl cellulose ether, so simplifying technological route and reducing the consumptions of organic solvent, acid and alkali. After modification, the crosslinked carboxy alkyl hydroylalkyl cellulose complex ether has high viscosity, better acid-and salt-resistance, and good stability.
