Abstract:
    Distamycin A derivatives of formula (I) is disclosed in this invention, wherein R is a single replace or double replace amido, and each group R1 is, independently, hydrogen oralkyl. According to this method, the compound of fromal (I) can be preparation by such as acylation to change amido of N-non_formyl distamycin A. The compounds are useful as antiviral or antitumor agents.
