Abstract:
    This invention relates to activated electrophilic ketone retroamide analogs of certain peptidase substrates. These compounds are useful in inhibiting serine-, thiol-, carboxylic acid- and metallo- dependent proteolytic enzymes, the inhibition of which will have useful physiological consequences in a variety of disease states.
