Abstract:
     Earthworm thrombolytic enzyme is a proteinase which is prepared from earthworm. The preparation includes: salting-out with ammonium sulfate, ultrafiltration, and purification by DEAE-cellulose, DEAE-Sephadex-A25, and Sephadex-G50 chromatographic columns. It is appraised that the enzyme has the effects to effectively resist coagulation, promote the dissolution of fibre and degrading other proteins. The molecular weight is low and the chemical properties are stable. Because of the above advantages, its acting mechanism and abundant raw materials, it can be widely used in biology, medicine, and industrial production.
