Abstract:
    The present invention provides a clear and efficient pertussis endotoxin-removing method characterized in that a fluid containing the antiinfective fraction and endotoxin of strains of phase I Bordetella pertussis is supplied with calcium ion in the presence of excess phosphate ion prior to zonal centrifugation and also a pertussis toxoid whose endotoxin content per 10 mug of proteinic nitrogen is not more than 0.5 ng and its production method.
