Abstract:
     The present invention discloses a method of removing pyrogen from albumin preparation. It is that after the bacterial endotoxin is adsorbed by frash plasma, the albumin is extracted by use of rivanol. As compared with the traditional method that after the plasma is added, the albumin is precipitated by use of low-temp. alcohol system and recovered, the said method features simple installation and small investment, therefore it is applicable to factories which have the existent technique and equipment for preparing albumin. After the albumin contaminated by pyrogen is processed by use of said invented method and passes through tests by rabbit, its quality comes up to the roquirement. Besides, said invented albumin has passed through transfusion to people, and this albumin has proved to be safe.
