Abstract:
     The invented process to produce calf epidermal growing factor (EGF) includes such technological steps as taking the submaxillary gland of calf, addition of extracting liquor, extraction, filter, centrifugal treatment, ion exchange for laminar eduction, gel filter, freezing and drying. The purity of obtained finished product can reach one strip level in electrophoresis. Its molecular weight is about 6000 measured by SDS gel electrophoresis and its isoelectronic point is about 5.0. The said EGF may be used in medicine, cosmetics and additive.
